Christ sculpture (2)
This life size sculpture of the resurrected Christ (standing on a rock, with arms wide open, wounds vaguely visible on his hands) is a semi-permanent exhibition inside the castle auditorium/chapel. The idea is to offer a multimedia image of the risen Christ (digital projector/sound, etc.). On the convex wall behind the sculpture I painted a vague impression (gilding and acrylic paint) of the New Jerusalem. Ten meters above this sculpture is a night “sky” with 300 optical fibre star lights of various sizes, three dimensional.
